In 2021 it's time to go big with different colours, prints and patterns.
2. High-rise, Wide-Leg Jeans
While we saw a lot of love for the skinny jean in recent years, we sense that the tide is turning back to the high-rise and wide-leg jeans of the 90s and early 2000s. With their flattering waist-cinching high rise and bold flare, we predict this silhouette will be in many 2021 wardorbes.
3. Colourful Faux Leather
Another trend making a reappearance in 2021 is the versatile faux leather. Not only is this fabric used in bags, boots and jackets but for dresses and pants. No wardrobe is complete without a leather jacket to complete your look. Or, why not try an evening dress in stretch leather, keep it muted with a pretty pastel or go bold with a vivid pink or red. Want to take things Matrix-style? Why not get a long faux leather trench coat to add a new dimension to your everyday wear. With faux leather being so easy to style, you'll have plenty of options to rock your style and sparkle in 2021.
Puffy-sleeved dresses and blouses have been a growth in Australia, and will only to continue in 2021. The flattering sleeve will not only have you feeling comfortable through the seasons, but with so many vartions to choose from, there's a sleeve for everyone. We can think of the Juliet, Ballon, Leg-of-Mutton and Papaya Poplin, to name a few. These sleeves add a touch of romance to any outfits and give a simple sense of elegance without needing to accessorise.
Plus size women have loved the puffed-sleeve for years, so why not give them a try in your next blouse, midi dress or even blazer!
5. Belted Waist Shirt Dress
A long casual shirt or boyfriend shirt is one of the trendiest plus-size outfits for women of all sizes, especially for curvy women. With varieties of hemlines, lengths and sleeves, these staple pieces can be worn belted to create a defined waist or even open over an outfit to dress it down. Style it with long necklaces, or scarfs to further the length. For shoes wear with flats or heels depending on how casual you need to go.
If you're not a big fan of belts, you can wear these shirts with high-waisted pants, ankle-length pants and tuck in your shirt dress!
Because of its effortless styling, 2021 will surely see many waist shirt dresses in the streets, casual outings and even at cocktail events.

2021 will see the continued trend of embroidered tops to add a sense of uniqueness and flair to your day to day outfit.
