An end of an era - Kita Ku is closing soon
Hello Hello lovely ladies,
It's taken some time to write this post but I feel now is the perfect time for us to share what has taken a while to get to.
Sandra and I have made the difficult decision to close down our beloved Kita Ku and look to our future and next steps for us to take in our lives.
Reaching our celebration of 20 years doing what we love, we had a light bulb moment and the time felt right to hang up the boots and look to new horizons.
For Sandra, the next steps will be retiring for the 2nd time (hmmm I'm not sure I really believe her!!!) and spending time with family and friends, taking time to get back to her love of painting and reading, as well as getting out there and doing some travelling. For me, it will be taking some time out to lean in to the next chapter of my life, I'm not sure what that is yet but I know it is going to be magical. One thing is for sure I will be enjoying spending more time with my family and getting work done around the house that I have been putting off for so long.
What stands out the most for us, during these past 20 years of Kita Ku, is the joy and happiness that has filled our hearts creating gorgeous, unique fashion for women.
We have had so many wonderful experiences as a mother and daughter duo, although at times we were stretched emotionally and faced many a challenge along the way, we always treasured what we had together and that we had the support of each other.
It really has been the most wonderful adventurous time of my life, an expression of my heart, to create, to be inspired by colour, patterns and fashion.
With all that being said we will be making our way to wrap up the online store over the coming month. Each and every order will be packed with love and gratitude for what we have created. We hope you will treasure these last pieces of Kita Ku and the memories you make in them as much as we have loved creating them for you to enjoy.
